Great picture taking, January 21, 2010

I even encouraged a few friends and family members to purchase Kodak cameras because of their good quality and value. For this reason, and because I’m also an aficionado of superzoom digital cameras, I was really looking forward to trying out the Kodak EasyShare Z980.
This Z980 is so much fun … It has many settings, manual, auto, etc….. If I take a picture that is grainy, blury, or the lighting isn’t quite right, I change the setting and it comes out crystal clear. I’ve taken moon shots, distance shots, micro close-ups, action shots, portraits … and am really impressed with the quality of the pictures for the cost of the camera. The 24x optical zoom is great.
I have used it all summer to take photos of my nieces soccer games. The pictures came out fantastic. The zoom really helped too. Colors were great even on high saturation (I changed some settings and now high saturation comes out great).
If you are looking for a camera that is more than point & shoot, but don’t want to deal with lenses of the SLRs, this camera is perfect! … and easy!
