“L. Allen” live in BOSTON, MA, US, review”Canon PowerShot SD1200IS Digital Camera” in amazon.com: Truth is, is that Canon PowerShot SD1200IS is my first camera. The camera is very fashionable,easy to use and with high quality. Also, the price is quite reasonable, I think.
Out of the box and on auto this thing takes great pictures, more then good enough for non-professional family type stuff. It’s also incredibly fast at auto focusing and getting to the right settings on its own, that’s probably because of the digic 4 processor but either way you can shake it up and it’ll refocus and acclimate itself in less then a second. It’s awesome.
I especially appreciate the automatic focus – very clear images. Even though the zoom is only 3x, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality of closeups. I did not want to spend more than $150 for my camera so I researched many different ones. For the money, I don’t think I could get a better bargain.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive camera with a lot of features but that’s also easy to use — this is it!
